| Daniel Morales nace en Cuba 1947 en el seno de una familia de artistas y pintores. A los 17 años se exilia en EEUU, New York, donde forma un grupo de teatro “Jóvenes amantes de la cultura”. Su obra es presentada en varias localidades de la comunidad Latina. Junto a la actuación, su pasión es la pintura. Crea numerosos murales en barrios latinos evocando en las imágenes la fuerza de libertad y justicia. En los años setenta se radica definitivamente en Miami, donde elabora y desarrolla su espíritu como pintor. Morales pasa por varios estilos hasta llegar a un Cubismo enraizado en su forma y color en el hombre. Las pinceladas impulsivas y espontáneas del pintor visualizan pasión y esperanza. El hombre es retratado en una era moderna y geométrica, tratando recobrar la nobleza de la vida. Morales desde hace veinte años no ha dejado de trabajar en su obra. En su Estudio se encuentras siempre nuevas pinturas debido a la gran demanda de parte de coleccionistas. No solo ha expuesto en galerías de Miami, West Palmbeach y New York, sino también en Paris y Lyon. Daniel Morales was born in Guantanamo (Cuba) on July 21st 1947. This artist possesses his own style, painting the world as he perceives it ; be they country landscapes or daily atmosphere. He paints in a modern figurative environment that gives him an abstract style. By combining divergent plans, he manages to make the audience look for what the artist aims to offer. Thus, details play an essential part. Thanks to such a thematic, Daniel Morales has distinguished himself from other artists for about fifteen years. He recently exhibits his works, but since his 18 years, he has painted his faraway island. He also belongs to a family of painters : his mother Teresa Morales, his uncles Angel & Raimundo Morales and his brother too, Jorge Morales. All of them inspired Daniel Morales. Moreover, he started out in a small theatre in New-York, as the Herald mentions it. In 1997, he exhibits at the FIU, close to Venezuelan artists : Abdon Romero and Pabreu. His works are currently at the Art & Antiques Gallerie. Nowadays, Daniel Morales is said to be one of the young fashion artists, by Miami art lovers. And in the universal modern art area, he is doomed to a successful future. |
